Oh, hey there! I'm Ronnie Blazey and I'm a 2D animator by trade, and have a keen interest in the preproduction side of things. I study Animation (BA) at UCA Farnham, but previously studied at Teesside University for year one of their Character Animation. I specifically really enjoy storytelling, leading to my most enjoyed work being in writing and boarding. I tend to try and use a lot of watercolours as a signature of my style and have heavily leaned towards cartooning since the naivete of my artistic journey.
My roots and special interests lie in more 'classic' frame by frame animation, although I've advanced onto primarily using toonboom for creating digital hand drawn pieces. You'll catch me tinkering at my lightbox at any other time, though. I've spent the last couple of years focusing on my artistic capabilities and hope to reinforce that as I aim to reach the professional world. I've also had training in a bunch of new software because of the privilege of my University studies, including special effects based software like Nuke and Adobe Aftereffects.
I own a small kitten called Malibu (full name: Dr Malibu Meow-Meow Fuzzyface the third) who is my favourite and only son and he probably loves you.
